Communities face challenges in accessing fresh, affordable produce and herbs, including a heavy dependency on grocery stores, and supply chain disruptions that can interrupt day-to-day needs. Compounding these issues, many neighborhoods lack meaningful communication between residents, making it difficult to share resources or knowledge. Additionally, most people do not consider themselves to have a “green thumb,” which further limits personal or community-based food production

In use, this application will bring neighborhoods and communities of all types together through food growth and sharing GardenShare will encourage sustainability while bringing back communication and positive engagement within communities.
